Got my car checked out a while ago due to floaty sensation, loose steering, and noise from front end. Was told that I need new front shocks and strut mounts. Where do I get the mounts from and is there a brand I should get?

After hearing I needed new shocks, I think I'm going for Bilstein Hd's with the stock springs. I want better handling/firmness while getting some comfort and apparently that is the combo to go with. Springs came original with the car so do I need new ones?

Might throw in some steering rack/sway bar brushings. How much should it cost altogether? I'd rather not spend more than 1g but figure I should do it right and get the brushings too.

steering bushings are about 50 bucks shipped, sway bar bushings you can find on rockauto.com for under 20 bucks. i just called sewell and they have struts oem for the front and rear for 260 bucks plus 15 for shipping anywhere in the country.

What? That's a pretty good deal. I might just go oem. Are those brushings oem or the daizen ones? Also, thanks a lot.

the steering bushings are the daizen ones from tm, and comes with the main bushing plus the 2 smaller bushings that go into the rack, or you can just buy the main bushing itself from sewell for like 20 some bucks.
