i'd say either one would be a good choice. but nice to hear you decided to go for the H&R. I have them installed just last month and I absolutely love it with no regret at all. love the drop love the handling love everything about it.

It is definitely harsher than stock as you know it every lowering springs out in the market will make the ride harsher, but to be honest I can only feel it harsher than stock when I hit a huge pothole or going over bumps. Normal driving no its pretty much like stock. My gf couldn't tell the difference. Before I got this I was debating to get this or the Eibach because you know I've heard bad things about H&Rs, shocks blown spring snapped stuff like that, but at the end I still went with the H&R and I'm glad I did. Here's a picture I took ytd.
The ride on my H&R's is the same way.....if the road is smooth, the ride feels very close to stock...hit a pot hole!!!! watch out and hang on...it becomes jarring and you know you've changed springs..ha! H&R FTW

This is the exact reason I sold my H&R's and went coilovers. More shock travel before bottoming out.
The ISx50's OEM shock was not designed to be dropped that low, hence your bottoming out on your bump stops all the time.
Do you know if the fsports shocks will bottom out like the oem ones or yould it be better?
They SHOULDN'T, but I didn't do any expert test's or anything. But what you will suffer from no matter what shock you run, and another side effect from spring drop on the ISx50 is the "Lexus Lean". The "Lexus Lean" is your right side will be roughly 1/2 inch higher then your left side. Search the LL and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
I brought my IS back to the dealer to complain about it to no avail. There's nothing that can be done, the LL is there for good. Coilovers take care of that though.
So for the same price of F-Sport shocks n' H&R springs, you can get dampening adjustable coilovers with precision ride height. The choice is ovbious.
I like H&R~! Thx to Tommy for installing springs. Tommy has set of SSR (5 spoke) rims for sale. Call him for more details. Front rubs when I turn tho. I prolly have to shave it before it eats my tire. Other than that, it feels good. I don't really feel anything unless I go over bump or park my car. Feels smooth and nice. Thx for recommending H&R. It is good choice Thx Zoeb for sick wheels~! Love them. Love the f-sport exhaust too~ Thx to Sewell Lexus for fast shipping.
