Just got my 97 sc300. I heard you can put supra springs on and it lowers it about and inch. Is this true. Let me know thanks.

if you want to use Supra springs, you MUST (and dont let anyone tell you different) MUST use Supra shocks, and its approx. a .5'' drop.

So it really doesn't do much. I was looking more for 1 - 1.5 drop. Anything else I can do.

You can use the stock Supra TT shocks with the Supra Eibach Pro kit, should give an 1.5'' drop on the SC.

You can search more, theres all kinds of threads about Supra Struts/Springs fitting the SC and just get some lowering springs/struts for a Toyota Supra MK4 it should give you .5 inches extra drop than it lists on the set. Or just take the easy route and go with coil overs.

if you want to go with coilovers i hear the Megan's are the best for the buck!!!
because after doing research the springs and shocks are going to run you about 4 and some change.... when you can add another 4 to it and know that your coilovers are more flexible when it comes to height adjustment to give you exactly what you want..

Yeah I hear ya. I think it might just be better to bite the bulllet now and do it. Im sure i will put springs and shocks on fully knowing i want coilovers. So coilovers it is. Thanks everyone.

If you're going to get coilovers, do it right the first time and get something good. If performance isn't a concern , and price is an issue, then practically any coilover setup will work for you.

I've got Swift springs and Koni Yellow shocks, both for the Supra and I love how it sits.

(settled a bit more since that photo)
