Default l-tuned suspension

I am getting confused between (may be a dumb question)

l-tuned Performance Road Springs verses
TRD Springs from l-tuned

and then l-tuned performance shocks

No confusion necessary.

L-Tuned is the Lexus division of TRD (Toyota Racing Development). The springs and shocks are sourced from TRD despite being labeled L-Tuned.

In other words, one and the same.

mooretorque, how do you like the L-Tuned set up in your GS?

Thanks.

Lex, imo L-Tuned should be the standard suspension for the GS. The car feels much more settled under all road conditons. It corners slightly flatter. The floaty/nauseating lack of jounce and rebound control over big whoop-de-do bumps is just GONE.

To me, there always seemed to be a sensation of the body moving around slightly on the suspension; now the feeling is of the body and suspension remaining coordinated. With the exception of slight increase in impact harshness over small, sharp bumps, there has been no change in ride comfort. Actually, to me, the car is more comfortable since it now has the sort of supple, controlled ride we so often associate with those German guys.

I plan on TRD sways and (at least) lower chassis brace soon. The brace won't affect the ride but stiffer bars will, at least on crappy pavement.

All in all, highly recommended.

I agree with everything mooretorque said - this is a no-brainer of an upgrade.
