Default SAGE Front RCA (30mm)+LS400 Calipers+15mm H&R spacer+16" Stock Wheels = NO RUBBING!!!

I slapped on my stockers today to get a safety check.....but also to answer a few PMs from other members who wanted to know if SAGE front RCAs (30mm) will NOT rub the inner wheel barrels of the stock 16" wheels....the answer is NO rubbing....

I also have LS400 front calipers with LS400 size rotors....I used 15mm H&R spacers....as you can see....also NO rubbing issues... ....there's like a 4mm gap from the top of the LS400 caliper to the inner wheel barrel (my wheel balance weights is 2mm thick...so now I only got 2mm left ). Also, there's about 3mm from the wheel spokes to the face of the LS400 caliper.

LS400 Calipers and inner barrel with wheel weights...barely clears...

LS400 Calipers and 16" Stock OEM wheel spokes...also clears...

I hope this helps everyone....esp those who are running 16" stockers...that SAGE RCAs are possible.

And yes...I did drive on it...to a Chevron station for the safety check and some gas...again...no problems.

Pete

Cool. I thought we no longer need RECON for larger rims anymore? You should have been able to pass with any size rims now I thought.

The love the wheel to brake fitment ratio. Combined with the worn out tire, it looks mean

Worn out tires....LOL....I gotta thank dear ole mom for that....her 2GS platinum stockers needed new tires....so I offered her to use mines....well, 25K miles later...I got them back like this......pretty much bald.

did you have to change out your wheel studs with the spacers?

for my situation..yes..cuz my Work wheels didn't have the extra spacing for the bolt-on spacer studs...so I had to use spacers with new extended studs.

Question, when you installed the LS400 BBK did you need to cut any of the dust shield off?
