hello, its that time to replace my lower control arm and need suggestions,
1. Should i just changed the the bushing?
2. replace the complete lower control arm?
Also please post the part number for the sewell poly caster bushing or link.. Thank you for all the help.
Edit: I just called Sewell and was told that they do not sell the bushing by itself and i need to buy the complete lower control arm.. Please let me know if this is the case..

if the lca came with lower ball joints or something, Id say it would be worth it.. in the case of our gs', the only worn part that gets replaced with the arm is the bushing (and some fresh paint). Ive had poly bushings for a couple years now, Im happy with them. Plus, they were cheap! just do some extra shopping around! I think figs might even make poly bushings now too.

I am working on this as fast as I can. All parts are out for quote including a camber adjusting version of this and the inner LCA bushing.
again the major benefit will be the improved fucntional design of allowing pivoting without requiring bushing distortion. Here is a diagram I made to demostrate this.
The install for the IS I just documented here in my blog http://figsengineering.blogspot.com/...aster-arm.html and once we get the new center tubes we should be good to go. I am making them for all years of GS and SC430.

We got our proto #2 bushings last week and if the new shop was online we would have a car on the lift verifying. But one more coat on the floors. I have parts for about 5 sets if everything works out fine.

no need for that at all. Keep the spherical bearings as they are a much higher level of function.

That is the next version that will offer offset front control arm and caster arm bushings for camber adjustment. So I guess yes if you need camber adjustment then this would need to change. Its possible to reduce camber though on the on front bushing alone and pull back a little caster angle which is not a bad thing anyway.

I knew I had bought some of these at one time, cleaned some stuff up they are the ADUS 537's and they don't have anything in the package except the bushing no sleeves.... Since I have them already I think I'm gonna use em... Do I find a sleeve insert based on the others I've seen here or reuse the stock ones?
