The wheel gap has improved significantly but obviously not as much as coils. Before the springs i could fit almost a fist under the rear wheels. Now only two fingers, same with the front. The ride is good too!

The very last part that you sprayed and the noise went away should be your ticket. remember to spray a small area at a time and go out for a test drive to confirm.
Thanks for the advise. What do you recommend, WD-40?

my car did the same thing when i first went oem & eibachs, turns out to be the springs with oem shocks the springs somehow did not want to seat properly on the old 90K + oem shocks. got a set of 4 kyb's and the sound went away... my symptoms was VERY similar to yours early mornings especially cold days the car would creep and pop for a good 3-5 blocks then settle down after and never hear it again till the car sits overnight.

If you are still on the original struts, I would look closely in that direction. My front driver side strut was shot and was making squeaky crunchy sound. Also have your outer tie rod ends and balljoints checked, as others here have suggested. Your car looks good by the way.

Did you ever get this resolved? What was the cause?
