If I buy a new set of stock pads, do they come with shims or do I need to buy that separately?

They are a separate purchase. You'll also need 90998-94072 disc brake grease for the front disc brake anti-squeal shims and front disc brake pad leading and trailing edges.

Where can I get it? I've searched Sewell, Trade Motion (L-Tuned Parts) and even Google and nothing comes up.

Can I just use generic anti-squeal or is the Lexus one better?

Here is best deal i think Duralast Gold C'Max
Full Ceramic
less noise
Longer Life than OEM
Causes Less Rotor wear
And best thing When they wear out just take them Back to any autozone and they will give you new ones at no cost. as long as you own the car.

Are they quieter than the stock no-dust pads?

Also, if I go with those pads, I need to order the "Brakeware / Brake Disc Hardware Kit" as well, right? I can't tell from the pic but is that the shims?

Yeah, I also need new brakes for my 2007 IS350.

I've been searching for some non-OEM brake pads on the site, but haven't really found them. I know they have to be out there and ebay pads just seem to cheap to be good.

I'd go OEM too if that's the best route. Sounds like you need:
1) front and rear pads
2) greece
3) shims

Any idea where I can purchase these online? Is there anything else I'm missing?

It's not... irontoad has been around quite a while now, lots of forum members (and others) have bought from em

Are you sure you need rear pads? it's unusual for the rears to wear out in anywhere near the amount of time the fronts do

If you drive like an idiot and engage the stability controls a lot, you could wear out the rears before the fronts.

No I'm not sure, but I do hear the fronts making a bit of noise, and figured I'd need them at least.

I was also going to go ahead and get cabin/oil filter, as well as a new oil drain plug gasket (if you think I'll need it).

irontoad I don't see having the shims though, or the grease. That sucks. Where can I get this stuff without going to the stealership. I need my 45,000 mile service on top of the pads, so that's why I'm buying all this stuff. My friend is a certified tech so I'd rather throw him the loot to do the service than the stealership. They want $184 for an oil change, filter replacement, and a check of my car. Uhm ok!

This is what I'm ordering from irontoad:
87139-YZZ08 Interior cabin a/c filter $20.00
04152-YZZA3 2-wheel drive oil filter kit $4.33
17801-31110 Engine air filter $17.60
04465-30410 Front brake pads $45.00

I think this is all I'll need to replicate a 45,000 mile service. Any other suggestions definitely welcome I'm a newbie owner. I'll throw up pictures of my care soon. I have 20" rims (Konig Unknowns).

I need some help here guys.

If I go with the Duralast Pads... can I buy OEM shims and use them with these pads? do I need the brake disc hardware kit? Please let me know. My rotors arrive on Friday so I want to order this stuff ASAP. Thanks.
