Default Brake / Rotor Help 911!!! Please help

Just got a 2000 GS300 with 85K miles on it to sit right beside my 93 GS Project. Car is perfect but there was a slight shimmy when I applied the breaks. I checked the pads and there were good. I then had the rotors turned and low and behold the shimmy was gone. But now there is a little knocking sound from the passenger side caliper area. I have taken the rotor and caliper of serveral time and inspected but still the same thing. Please help gotta go to work in the morning.

thank you in advance...

Check your caliper pins on the sides of the brake pads. One of them should be stuck, or not moving as it should be. Easy fix if you have the right tools. You would need a clamp, a grinder, greese, and something to push this thing back in.

Also, make sure that your rotors are not warped at all. If they are, they'll be needing a change. How to tell? Turn the wheel, look towards the back of the car looking at the top of the rotor. If it looks crooked, change it.

This is an infamous thing with the GS's
