IS250 caliper - bolt hole spacing.
Hi all,
Was wondering if by any chance anyone knows or can measure the front and rear caliper bolt hole spacing.
I am starting a track car build and want to start addressing the brakes but I am away from the car for the next week or so.
I am aware of the available BBKs and is350 swaps but not going that route.
Have to mention I am not a newb at this and have done several car builds over the years all specifically intended for track work.
I have the ability to produce practically anything with experienced engineering staff and equipment to support my requests. I even have the equipment needed to test outcomes. I am not brembo/alcon/stoptech etc but I can get it done.
Example of a custom kit I and the shop that supports me put together for my track jdm nissan s14. (ignore the EVO OE rotors - they were just for test fitting) This was based off someones initial idea and work but then taken to a higher level in design and engineering.
OEM setup: http://www.driftclub-il.com/johnc/Ni...kes/brakes.jpg
Brackets: http://www.driftclub-il.com/johnc/Ni...es/brakes4.jpg
Final: http://www.driftclub-il.com/johnc/Ni...s/brakes10.jpg
And also custom rears. This upgrade was fully adopted by one of the larget s14 communities in the states and 2 years down the line and its still very popular.
Total cost of kit, front and rear was under $1500 for everything and it utilizes proven parts from brembo and other OE manufacturers.
i dont sell anything but rather provide the details to the communities so Expect a new option in 2 to 3 months which will a) work great b) be cheap in price c) will use readily available components d) Probably wont be too bling
Your assistance appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
John
