when you buy something for these prices, the freaking Logo of the brand better be up there. its like buying a LV bag without the logo, who wants that? LV bags are expensive because of the logo ( also quality yeah blah blah blah), you think manufracturing those bags would cost up to 3k? no freaking way. same for that strut bar. at least some way so that people would recognize you bought the TOM's strut bar, not just some cheap brandless plain *** strut bar. i rather have the logo engraved on the bar than having a sticker to stick it on..

No one outside of the Japanese car enthusiats know what the hell TOM'S is. I have yet to come across someone who does (outside of CL and the interwebs), even then unless ur a toyota freak or watch JGTC / Super GT youve probably never heard of them.

I think having a name like TOM'S actually hurts u in show boating department. Who the f@#$ is TOM'S? lol

You've made a very good point. Many people still don't know that Lexus is a Toyota brand so why confuse them with the esoterica of "Tom's".

So your jdm fans friends would know that you have tom's ? when you go to car meets, people would be like dam you got Tom 's?Why would anyone pay for something this expensive that looks brandless? Why not just get a real brandless strut bar and save a lot of money???? Since showing off you got it is not part of the reason why you got it

also it really depends on where you live I guess, over here at SF we have a Lot of jdm fans but most of them r into evo and sti and s2k..........Not many into 2is

doubt that, as these are made of steel and probably beefier than OEM.

now let me get this right... you make a big hullabaloo about the front tower bar not having a TOM'S logo, because you want it to be easily recognized as a JDM part. and then you say that most JDM "fans" aren't into the 2is, since most JDM "fans" don't even know what TOM'S is. having said all that, doesn't it become a moot point whether it has a badge or not? i mean, it just sounds like you're just playing both sides of the field, but i digress...

let me ask you this: would YOU buy it, even with out the badge?

if not, i think there's not much for you to discuss here.

thanks for reading.

i just think it is a disappointment that a lot of JDM fans here are not 2is fans, and about whether JDM fans know about the brand Tom's or not, i would say most do know, but i am not sure.

i got a pix too, with the emblem it definitely look better cuz without the emblem it looks so plain
