you could test this by pushing down w/ your body weight on each corner of the car near where the shocks are (just don't scratch the paint job or dent the fenders). the corner that doesn't have as much resistance and doesn't rebound like the other three is probably bad.
you can also do a visual inspection of your shocks. if a shock appears to be leaking an abnormal amount of oil, it's probably bad.
maybe some of the 2is suspension gurus can chime in on this.

if your shocks are blown, you wont be able to see which one is out.
when you drive, the car or the side with broken shock will keep bouncing espeically when you go over a bump.
Spring keeps the car in level and pushs the weight of the car.
Shocks is like damping system. Spring doesnt have damping, so once it bounces, it will keep bouncing couple more time until it becomes steady. Shocks control damping so that the car bounces a lot less.
Try a search on worn shocks on Lexus, it's been posted here before. There are written guidelines from Lexus addressing the leaking, etc.
