Thanks for the advice bro. I'm not looking to do anything I have to be worring about every turn i make. Just wish they would come out with an affordable kit under 500. Got the Eibachs which I'm really happy with since I have a family that will be in the car. But I would love to drop it a little more aggressively for that sweet raked look.

I'd love to drop $40 bones on lowering the GS but man..
something just doesn't seem safe about that - thats just me though!
I don't even want to run cheap coilovers on my daily driven integra - lol

when i bought the car the trunk lights were really faded almost pinkish

good luck with those coils. ive seen plenty of bad things come from cheap coils. i wouldnt even bother putting them on. the spring rate is probably through the roof with those and id be suprised if those stock struts last longer than 3-4 months.

LOL at some of these comments. cutting springs is the same, if not worse than the ebay coilovers. almost all ebay coilovers have a spring rate of 400/400. get a nice set of shocks and call it a day. sleeve style coilovers have been proven time and time again (anybody heard of ground control or skunk2?! lol) its not a bad alternative, and deffinetely is better than cutting springs. ive ran them on every honda i've owned many many people race competetively using sleeve style coilovers.

nicely done, and more power to you for being creative and ballin on a budget!

sure ive seen people use sleeves like skunk2 for racing n such.. however they do change their shocks to aftermarket shocks that can handle the abuse of a lowered car. I believe the Gixxerdrew suspension is a sleeved combined with bilstien shocks.

i personally have ran espilers springs on my Sc400 stock shocks with no problem whatsoever since i changed em out to some lower milage stock shocks hehe.

ive ran them on every honda i've owned
this aint a honda tho sry i just had to haha.

lol yes i agree about the stock shocks...if the shock cannot control the spring you will have bouncy ride and blow the shocks, no matter what spring/coilover setup your running. its always a good idea to run aftermarket shocks when lowering a car.

i actually prefer sleeve style coilovers for racing apps (coupled with the right shocks) swapping out different spring rates for different conditions is cheap and easy with them.
