Question about Supra Shocks on a Sc300
I was wondering if I get supra shocks, can I use the top hats of the sc or do I need to get supra top hats as well? and is there any advantages or disadvantages of having supra shocks and springs?

The hats don't make much difference, the SC ones work fine (the drew_gixxer setups use the SC top hats)
as for the springs, the Supra springs are a bit more common and have a wider selection of rates and drops to choose from. As mentioned before they do drop the car a tad more than the advertised drop for the Supra.

soarer and supra use the same coil wound for the front coils. Thats why lowered soarer height front springs are the same as standard supra springs.
the rears are different and cannot be subtituted for for each others springs and shocks.
you can use the supra or soarer top hats, your decision.
supra "do" have a stiffer valving in the shock (performance orientated)
standard supra is 0.5" - 1" lower than standard soarer springs.
all are positives, but go with the standard supra shocks and springs because if you want to go lower later you can. ($1000 AUD)
if you are like me, where i like to be able to adjust the suspension to get the height i want for a little extra do go coilovers.
