Anyone here know the member Kadburry ?

I cant reach him by PM or Email. Nor can Paypal...
I have already contacted a Mod so please dont delete or move this post to the seller feedback. I want it to get max exposure here.

I want to give him an opportunity to make things right.

I've never called anyone out in public like this and really hate to sling mud but im getting really frustrated. I cant even get paypal to help. Way to protect your customers paypal. Fawkers
UPS told me to talk to the sender.

I ordered some Tein flex coilovers for my wifes car. I knew that one of the tophats was damaged. No big deal

See the thread here >> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/2ge...00shipped.html

I got the package and the struts were hanging out of the box. The box was thrashed. The top hat was missing along with the nut and top hat hardware.
The adjuster ***** on two of the struts are jacked up. One snapped off inside the strut. The other ripped the threads out so i cant even put another one in it.

The dark pix are from my crappy cel phone because I didnt have my camera at the time. I do still have the original packaging though.

why did u even accept the package if it was beat up like that.
if it was damaged in shipping, its not the sellers fault.
UPS is known to knock around their boxes a bit.
my bro's friend knows from experience

It was definatly damaged in transit. Though im sure it wasnt packed well at so it wasnt entirely browns fault. There were a few wad's of paper in the box to hold four heavy struts in place...

There was no signature required so dude must have just dropped it on the porch thinking that was acceptable. When I called UPS and also went down to a local branch, they both said they couldnt help me and that I needed to contact the shipper.

Good luck in finding a resolution to your problem. Looks like UPS did a number to that package, don't think any shipper would release a box in that condition.

^^ Whew, I'm glad that I'm cool with the UPS driver who delivers to my place.

I think it was a combination of bad packing and how the box was handled by brown during shipping. Best of luck getting this issue resolved OP.

Thanks for the comments fellas. Im going to hit up UPS again, but this time im going to bring the box and the parts with to ask if they feel its appropriate to drop off a package looking like that.

To 978NastyGs, the damage to the coilovers isnt super bad but unfortunatly the adjuster ***** snapped off the threads inside the strut rod. So I cant simply use the ****. I can use an allen key but then I wont know how stiff I have it set since the **** is what gives has the detents so you know what the settings are...
Or I can get an EDFC since that screws onto the outside of the strut, but I wasnt planning on dropping a few hundred bux on that.

The gaping hole in the box let out the upper pillow mount that kadburry must have left loose in the box, because it wasnt on the strut when it showed up.
I knew the one was damaged but intended on repairing it. Now I have to buy a new pair since tein doesnt sell singles.

u can order the ***** from tein. i think they are like $45 for all four. I got them for my teins before.
I used to work for UPS when i was younger...in the loading dept.
With that history of UPS on mind coupled with their annoying extortive brokerage fees, I NEVER ship or recieve with UPS.
I think shipper has to file a claim for damaged goods, thats why UPS is asking you to contact the shipper.
Its a hassle with UPS...i really hate them.
Good luck with your teins

The ***** arent the problem, the fact that there are no threads to screw them into is the issue. When the old ***** were ripped out, they took the threads with.
