Question GS300 Suspension Aftermarket thoughts!!

New to the whole club Lexus and need some advise.I need to change the lower and upper control arms for my 2000 gs300 and was wondering what everyones thoughts are on aftermarket parts? I've been researching different brands and the whole "made in china" logo scares the hell out of me. Any particular aftermarket Brand that is the best besides OEM parts? Ive been on Rockauto and partsgeek and I see a lot of Dorman and Moog. Thoughts?? Please and Thanks!!

I would check the actual GS model forum section. However you do have plenty of aftermarket options for that baby. I wouldn't get something generic though.

Moog and Dorman are fine... the aftermarkets are good to save a few bucks and hold you over on replaceables that take a beating...

in the past i spent extra bucks to get OEMs suspension replacements (shocks) but found that the crappy roads in my area just chew them up... i get more life out of the aftermarkets and they have a better warranty... yes i hate the 'made in china' as well, but that is how you are able to save a few bucks and as long as it has a decent warranty, you should be fine...

I would not use Dorman. I used Moog for most of my parts except for lower control arm#2 which was OEM.
