I like my buddy's Beemer 5 series feel with the sport suspension. It's not too firm, provides a comfortable ride, and handles flat. Very "under control" but refined qualities. Firm but compliant.
Is that what you L-Tuned owners are experiencing?
Not to beat an old horse, but I think this qustion puts it into a little different perspective.
Obviously, the BMW will not have the clearance problems as L-Tuned drivers face, but that is just one more issue to consider based on personal driving conditions.

My neighbor has a 540i with sport package and I feel that the L-Tuned setup (perhaps with TRD strut tower brace since I never experienced it without it) is at least as good. With my other mods I feel it's better.

Thanks for the input.
I did measure again re ground clearance on my buddy's new BMW 520i. The front with little (1") air scoop is 4.5" and the side skirt behind the front tire is 6". My GS3 is 7.5" in both places. Plus the Beemer has a 2" wheel well gap and the Lexus 3".
Sounds like the L-Tune is going to fit just fine!
Now to find a decent price. With a 4 wheel alignment@ $80-150, I don't know how some members got the whole install for $200. Stillen quoted me $350-400 plus $115 to align. Heck for $100 more, I'd rather have the dealer install with a warranty and a rental car if ever a problem!
I'll keep looking......

$200.00
Yep that's right $200.00! Now I decided to get the allignment at a Firestone where I had my COBRA alligned in the past cause they do an exceelent job at a reasonable price! This time around I opted for a "Lifetime Allignment" for my GS4 do to the very reasonable price of $129.00! That my friends allows me to go in and have an allignment ANYTIME with NO QUESTIONS asked. That's the kind of reassurance I'm talking about!

Steve, where to install...
Steve,
when your are ready, let me know. Or, you can call todd (tmengineering.net). he operates a performance shop in carson, and has done several members' gs, not a problem.
the cost for springs and shocks installed is less than $150. and you can take it to have the car aligned for $100. Reasonable price and excellent quality install, not to mention nice guy(todd).
tell him william from diamond bar send you.

See! Here you go Steve. An even better deal than I got at $200! Hey William can you do a post on the GS forum about your bargain suspension install? When I posted my price of $200, it was just totally unbelievable!

Thanks Marcus and William. The only problem with the Carson location for installation is venue to my work and home. I'm Orange County and I think it's a half day job at least. However if nothing else pans out, this may be the way to go.
I'll check with a local tire store and a Winston shop near my office that have spoiled me in the past. the lifetime alignment is handy! Thanks guys.

I got my suspension installed for $160 and I got it aligend for $60 which I think is a deal so all in all I spent $720 for the L-tune spring/shock combo, the install, and the alignement I think overall thats a good price
