Default Suspension Overhaul - What am I forgetting?

Gents -

Last yr, I did lower ball joints, and tie rod ends on my 1999 GS400.

I just recieved from UPS a set of Eibach ProKit springs, and KYB Shocks + New Upper Control Arms, and a FULL set of Daizen Bushings (Control Arm, Steering, and Sways).

Is there anything else I need to complete this suspension freshen-up? Like are front or rear strut mounts recommended? Anything like that you can think of?

Thanks in advance for the opinions. I love the advice I get from you good people.

U didn't mention the "caster arm bushings".. Those should have come in the control arm kit from daizen unless you bought them seperate. Also the lower control arm bushing. I heard that the lower control arm bushing is not necessary to replace but if there are tons of miles on them then yes it might need to be replaced.

looks like you got everything covered..

Truthfully, I wouldn't have bothered buying the Daizen control arm bushing set since you already bought brand new control arms.

My logic in getting the bushings even though I am replacing the Upper control arms is that the only way to replace that darn upper ball joint is to replace the whole arm.

So, got both the arms and the bushings, because as our other poster mentioned - the bushings themselves will basically bring the lower arm back to 100%.

But is there anything else I need? Do the links need to be replaced when you do something like this? Or the shock mounts? Any value in adding those at the same time?

Anything I need to worry about in the fact that this is now gonna be a "lowered vehicle." I haven't ever dropped a vehicle before.....

The daizen bushings are harder than OEM so they are better for a lowered vehicle due to the added lateral pressure.

Off the top of my head I think you got it covered.

In that case, sounds like you're ready.

How about Rear Suspension?

I read a thread on here about replacing the rear links - people saying it def looks like a wear item that people forget.....

Any thoughts?

I have done everything you mention as well as the steering rack bushings.
I also am installing a Eibach/KYB setup but I went ahead a purchased NEW factory front strut mounts, isolators/rubber sleeves and the internal bumpstops.
In the rear I found a local salvage yard to send me both complete rear shock/spring sets off a 2004 GS, so I could use all the bushings and hardware. This way, these are much younger rubber parts in the rear than on my 98, manf date 11/97, and I don't have to dissassemble any of the old parts. I have all the necessary items to build a complete new suspension and just bolt it in place.

I think Champ hit the nail on its head. Change the mounts and rubber sleeves.

Thanks for the advice, bro!

How much were the Upper Strut Mounts / rubber sleeves/ isolators?

Also, do you have part numbers so I can easily find them on sewell's site?

Thanks in advance, and the advice is much appreciated.
