a stup!d girl question... (suspension squeaks)
my f-sport sway bars are squeeky! is it because i didn't grease the bushings? i glanced over the instructions and didn't see anything about greasing them...
i did a search on noisey f-sport sway bars and found a thread in the gs section... does the is have the same issues?
thanks in advance, lei.

I did get lazy on a set of poly control arm bushings once that squeaked... but it eventually went away after 2 weeks.

Depends if the bushings are hard rubber or polyurethane. On the GS's the poly bushings require lube and the rubber ones don't. Generally Toyota products use rubber bushings...yes that includes TRD and Fsport
But you should still double check to see if they're rubber or poly just to be sure. The poly bushings have a shiny look on the surface, kinda like plastic. Rubber bushings have a dull look.

All sway bar bushings in the past that I've replaced I've always greased them up. Shouldn't be that hard to do. Couple of bolts to take off on each side, apply the grease and put them back on...
