Default BCR Coils....

Just recieved my set of BC coilovers from CMS and will be installing them on my '01 GS3. Hopefully all goes well I will be adding pictures to the "Non-Air" DUMPED thread!

Replacing H&R springs on stockies for this set up and with the 20x8.5/20x10 hopefully it tucks.

Looks Great! What type of mounts do you go with? Rubber?

Thanks guys.

The mounts are aluminum or whatever metal it comes in... There was no other option I believe for the 2nd gen.

I believe thay come in a pillow ball mount (what you have) but then there is a rubber mount option as well. Can anyone confirm?

you should be able to get them with rubber mounts. There is no reason to pillowballs on a non locating portion of the suspension in a double wishbone. You will also need a set of MEGA arms for those rear tires I will be releasing them next week for the 2 GS.

Are you all the way down on the coils for the BCR coilovers? The car looks great!

The spring height adjustment is set so the spring sits right against the top mount... meaning I adjusted that ring so when the coilover was sitting in my lap the spring would not move around...under no load.

Most/All of the height adjustment was done at the lower adjustment point (strut body height adjustment). Figured this way the strut piston would be allowed the full travel if needed.

I rolled the front and it's fine but going up ramps the steering wheel needs to be straight or it grabs the fenders... probably doesn't help with the wide tires.
The rears I didn't do anything.

The height adjustment for the lower I can probably raise it about 1-2" above the tires?
