I hav'nt been on here for awhile.

I recently installed UAS and Kyb struts on my GS a few months ago

I discovered that the front bags were rubbing. Mainly due to the fact that I ride too low while driving.

Tonite I installed the new billet upper strut mounts from UAS and front spacer which pushes the bags up higher while I'm driving to prevent the rubbing.

I hope this can help others who've experienced the same prob..

Where do the bags rub at? I've been riding on UAS air bags and KYB's for like 3 years and have been good. I don't really drive that low up front cuz I dont wanna rub the fenders.

Those new billet mounts look sick man. How much did those set you back? So where did the bag rub at and on what? I'm using the top mounts for the front struts from my TEIN CS.

that is what kinda top hat they basically are except not with the pillow ball bearing. You going UAS over coils chris?

I see. I'm debating whether to go with coilovers with my UAS or going with coilovers with a cup kit. I drive pretty low so coilovers suit my driving style more anyway.

This is the first I have heard of the KYBs rubbing usually it is a problem with the Bilstiens since the Bilstein seat is lower. What pressure do you ride at?

The billet mounts were around $199/pr.. The bags rubbed on the steering knuckle, caused by me riding too low. Maybe those Tein upper mounts are doing the job... they may be allowing the bags to sit up higher.

Yes, those are the spacers and mounts. The first pic on my post is it.. that's the car layed out... pancake...



I'm not sure if the shaft on the Kyb shock is the same as the coilover.

I think there's other posts of the bag rubbing problem.

I have no gauges/or digital controller. .. just a yard stick and my switch box... LOL...
