Default Need help in deciding what springs to get!!!

Well, i got the rims and sure enough now it needs a drop. However i cannot decide what springs to get. I am looking at about 1.7in drop, or would i need more? So if you can please reccomend me some springs. Also i will not be going with air/coilover setup.

Here are some pictures so you could tell me exactly what i need.

How much do you wanna spend? if you want a t least a 1.5 drop there are alot to go with. daizen springs i think are 2 fr and 1.7 rear, megan racing is 1.9 fr & rear. tien's are good, eibach pro kit, sprint springs do a 2" front/rear. There is alot of choices out there. Best bang for your buck is megan racing, alot of guys are running daizen or DF210. hope this helps

i recently installed some eibachs and they settle to about 1.5, ride feels great with 18's on, so far no complaints.

This is very informative. Thank you for this post. I am probably going to go with Megan Racing Springs for 2GS. What would be a good shock to go with or should I stay with my OEM's?

Coilovers would be the best way to go.

imho, you should at the very least get coilovers that slam
however, since you insist only on s/s combo, imho, espelirs or daizen...maybe even tanabe DF's

Anytime you lower your car you never want to stay stock shock, go with a KYB or Bilstien, maybe tokico or something

Coils are the best if you can afford them? I want them but cant afford them so in the mean time s/s are the only way to go

Tanabes are pretty in-expensive but if you got a GS4 nothing's cheaper priced than Megan springs, they are like $150 shipped??

He's right. If it comes out to be close to the same price it is better to get coils. you can get megan or ksport coils for like $800 from some vendors here!
