Default Questions/ help me find DBA 4000/ 5000 rotors

hey all I have the supra tt setup on my gs and it has slotted rotors (don't know/ remember the brand). I replaced all four pads with hawk hps pads and they are soooo noisy it says right on the box, low dust low noise, WTF? how do I fix? I tried autozone's "brake quiet" but that works for about a day only.

I Also need help finding new rotors for the front. I really want the dba 5000's but 375 a side is steep. I could do with the 4000's but why not get the best right?

hopefully someone on here knows where to find a solution to both these problems. Thanks in advance.

I'll try my best to help you since I have quite some experience with suspension and brakes... Let me first ask you what will be the major use of your car? I.E. Daily Driving, Highway pull, Autox.... With that aside, I'm now gonna get to the rotor aspect for your car. For the price, I would say that the DBA4000 series rotor is a supurb rotor that will take anything that you can throw at it less aggressive highspeed short track racing. They are not bad in price which will reward you down the road due to them having a lower wear rate. I personally had these rotors on my 2001 GS300 back in the days prior to picking up partial sponsorship from D2 which led me to using their BBK. As far as pad selection goes, if it is purely for aggressive street driving, then I would use the Ferrodo or Performance friction pads. But if you want a pad that can withstand track use, then I'd definately go with the Carbotech XP8's or XP10's. And if you wanna stay quite and stop on a dime and have spare change around, I'd run Cobalt pads. These pads are used on alot of ALMS and the space shuttle. If you have any further question, let me know.

there's a sponsor selling DBA rotors on here...but I asked them about regular blanks for TTs and they do not have them...I think your combination on slotted and hawk pads make it noisy

There are plenty of distributor in the states. Just go to there website and contact one of them. As far as our vendor is concern, they do have them for the supra TT application the last time I checked with them.

Depending on where from in Turkey and where to in France and how
Quickest is plane, roughly 3.5 hours
Boat would be 3 to 4 days
Train 2 days
