Question STANCE GR+Plus Coilovers - Who has them? Hate it or Love it?

Hi,

I've done a search on this forum and did not find a consolidated thread with the reviews of this product.
  • How is the ride?
  • How low can you go? How high can you go?
  • Why did you choose this suspension over others?

If you own it or have direct experience with them, please reply. For those who do not, feel free to post questions/concerns as well.

Thanks!

I do not have them personally but I have driven a car with them...one thing to say is that even though they have high spring rates, the damping features are pretty good, which makes driving around very comfortable....they go really low, but unsure about the highest height. Reasonably priced...can't go wrong

How is the ride?

I think they eliminate floaty feelings your more smooth and on a cloud ride if you compress your springs and set your dampening right then your off with no worries just a luxurious ride.

How low can you go? How high can you go?

How low? Stupid low where your aluminum race jack can get stuck under your car if you dont have a drive up ramp or 2x4 wood under your wheels.

You can get them pretty high not stock 4x4 high but almost there.

Why did you choose this suspension over others?

I choosed this because I did some thinking and couldnt shell out for "JIC" my main was "JIC" but then I didnt want to skimp out on your average ksports/megans/D2... Just because.... my own theory and facts.

Plus its been on evo's and 240's and those hard rear bumper swaggers and im pretty sure they are abusing the suspension hard enough to still drive them like cloud. ExileLakai has em on his GS and his drifting away with his setup.

Stance GR+ was just about the right amount for my budget to play around with and then what not later on I can still get a good price back if I sell them unlike your average ksports/megans/D2... This is when and if I go to the darkside = AiRR

My opinions on my Stance review and being a owner of one. If you dont like it I dont care.

Dara

I got them about 2 months ago. The ride is awesome! 15-way dampening. I've had it more on the stiff dampening and it gives it a nice bumpy, feel-the-road type ride. Then I just tried it more on the soft dampening yesterday it is super smooth. My front and rear tires are tucking and on soft, it doesnt even feel lowered to me. If you get these, you will be lowered or slammed. Im not sure if you and raise it up to 2 finger gap since the top threaded body seems pretty short. But then again, if you're gonna lower your car, I say drop the heck out of it. Thats why I don't get peeps that want to lower their ride but get springs like the Tanabe NF, which looks like stock anyway. Like Dara, I chose Stance because cars like the Subarus, Evos, and even 240's have been rockin' them and they seem to hold up and better quality than Megans,KSport, or D2. Price isn't bad either. Hope this helps.
