This thread is definitely scaring me as well. I wanted to lower mine down as well but from hearing all these stories about vibrations. I'll stick to stock.

Just be aware.

If you really want to lower an AWD the best way is usally to spend a little more and get a nice set of coilovers. Right now BCR is the only company wit hthe AWD coilovers available. PM us uf you want more info or pricing.
whats the best brand for coilovers? I’m interested.

Based on all the above responses about vibrations in drive with a foot on the brake it doesn’t sound to me to be ride height related. Myself as well as other seem to be experiencing the same issue on stock suspension as others are experiencing on coils or lowering springs. I wonder if this is an unrelated issue. Given that the 250s are known for carbon build up I had always assumed it was related to that. I’ve done upper intake cleaners but never walnut blasting and am thinking about replacing my Pcv valve or even running an oil catch can as i have seen another member do to address the issue

I have a 2012 is250 AWD and have been wanting to lower it ever since I got it. Do you guys really not recommend lowering? Does anyone have any fix for the vibration problems?

Bump.

I've got a 2013 IS350 AWD. Looking to lower it on BC Racing coilovers. I'm not looking for an aggressive drop, just to eliminate as much gap as possible without vibration. Before I spend the money, I'd like to know if I'd be making a huge mistake. Has anyone out there successfully lowered an IS350 AWD??

lower it. With BC you can adjust the height. Pretty much $1k everywhere from authorized dealer.
