Default Vehicle specific DF's

Well let me start off by saying im not really a spring type of guy...
My girl ended up buying me a set of DF's for the GS...(i was saving up for another set of coilovers)

She ended up buying me DF's for the gs400/430 and I have a 300..

So i was wondering does it really matter? or is it only a harder ride due to the springrates?

They assume they fit my gs300 right?

*im only keeping these to make her happy, in a few months I WILL get my coilovers*

The DF's for the 400/430 says it lowers the car more..
Does it actually lower the car more?
Or lower it because of the v8?

They'll fit. You should have no problems with them. I'm guessing Tanabe thought it was a good idea to make 2 different springs just because they have different engine outputs. Realistically, you can put on either 300 or 400/430 springs if you like.

you think the ones I have for the 400/430 will lower my gs300 more than the DF210s for the 300..

(that was hard to say without confusing myself)

I dont know the exact drop but whichever one is rated for a lower drop will drop your car more. The weight difference between the GS300 and GS400 is negligible when it comes to spring rate vs ride height.

It said the ones my girl ended up buying me(400/430) drop lower than the right ones for my car(300)..

So i just figured it did so due to the weight of the engine..
I just wanted to make sure..

The 2jz-ge weighs more than the 1uz-fe. I'd go for the GS4 springs anyways. My friend had it on his GS and it looked damn good.

There's a .2" differance between the two, I've got the V8 DF's on my 400 and it's a nice drop, should hold you over pretty well until you get the coilovers!
