anyone here hear of carbotech? if so what are the pro's and con's?

Why? Carbotech makes great pads. They're not exactly cheap, but lots of Supra guys have been using them for track days for years. They also make some street compounds, but I haven't run them myself so I really can't comment from personal experience.
