it's about time for me to do a brake fluid flush... but I was looking at the
fluid inside the reservoir. it's just as clean and clear as the new brake
fluid I bought today...???

how many miles on the fluid??? i wouldn't go by the color of the fluid because normally brake fluid goes bad because it attracts moisture through the hoses... and well, water is clear too... so this means that if you live in an area that is very humid, you should change out your fluid more often... it isn't an expensive job or time consuming... just need a buddy to help you out... i usually do it every year after the first 30k miles...
