Did you use RCA's or shave the bolt and caliper? If you shaved, I'd be interested to see pics of exactly what/how much you had to shave off.

no need to upgrade the rears imo, I think they are already 2 piston and only other option is aftermarket bbk which means fronts have to be done as well or go with supra rears, but they seem to just be a bulkier 2 piston caliper.

eh, GS's are single pot and you canus the Supra dual pot ones but like you said, not really worth it. I'd like to see the LS400 caliper pics myself as I have been threatening to buy some for awhile. I found a site to buy them for about $220 shipped also including the core charge.

Or you can just go to napa autoparts and pick one up and return the core there. Check the GS first gen section for picture. Looks like part of the crown were cut off. I suggest you fully seat the bolt and mark which crown to cut off. Then remove it and cut the crown and shave off some thread...or put 1/2 inch metal washer, where RCA block would go, to reduce how much thread to cut off. Don't go overboard with them metal washers...the circular seats needs to go into the other section to prevent play. make sure the metal washer fit the sleeve (may have to sand the inner metal washer to make it fit the sleeve).

Sorry not too description...just put one and one together.

You should pm Gsteg, he might still have a set or two available. Usually runs around $200 or so for the calipers, then you'll need to get some bigger rotors, pads if you'd like, and maybe stainless steel lines as well.

incorrect. the 2gs rear caliper is a 2-pot setup; a pot on the inside and another pot on the outside.

Do you guys know if the 3GS and 2GS brakes are interchangeable? Sorry, didn't search...it's just that the GS-F is coming.
