Default Little issue with install (spring+shock)

Okay, I installed my Eibach springs + Bilstien on all four sides. First problem was that the kit was too soft and the fenders ate up my brand new tires (good thing I caught it...still safe to use).

Well, I just realized that one side, the driver side rear is a little lower than the rest of the corners.

What do you guys think could be the likely issue?

Could the mis-alignment of the springs cause a differential in height or not?

what size wheels and tires are you running?
eibach doesnt drop low enough to the point causing one to rub fenders (on stock wheels)

I'm running the g35 wheels 19x8.5 using 245/30 tires. I used 25mm spacers on the rear. The side that was lower than the other was getting sheered. I removed the spacers but on huge bumps going fast...the fender still touches the tires (but not unsafe).

My main concern/question is...is it possible to install the springs incorrectly enough to give a differential in height? The bottom part is seated correctly but I'm not sure about the top end of the spring.

I will be doing fender mod and put a 15mm-20mm spacers after the mod.

So whats the difference in height? Are we talking 1 inch? 1/2 inch?

Yes...its possible that the springs are NOT sitting properly on the shock...but I would let the new spring/shock settle in for at least a week before being critical.

It's like 1/4" shorter... It's too odd that all three are perfect.

1/4" is nothing. If fact, you are actually pretty lucky that all the other 3 settled perfectly even. Typically you may have a slight variance on all 4 corners. Example, drivers front side often settles a tad lower than the passenger front side. Rear generally settles lower than the front all together. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about 1/4" difference. Even with my coilovers, to get the same even ride height all around I have to set each corner differently. Not good for corner balancing, but I don't track the car and there is no ill perceived handling issues during street driving and its all mostly for looks anyway.

Thanks! As long as I know it's normal/typical after an install. I just now have to do fender mod cus the wheels are just a tad aggressive. It will be more aggressive after the mod (with spacers).

1/4" is nothing to be really over concerned about.
g35 19's w/25mm spacers, wow. that takes the resulting offset to mid-teens? or somewhere about so.

eibach's only provide a 1" drop, so i'd imagine the g35 19's, on eibach's, would stick out some

maybe a thinner spacer and more aggressive springs would do better...hhmmmmm

Sent my spacers 30mm and 25mm out yesterday. I plan on 15mm. It sure looks nice with 25mm in the rear. with 25mm less than mid teens ?

Spring is too soft for my taste...I will have to learn to live with it. It doesn't match my aggressiveness. For people who drives like me...go for something firmer.
