Default I want to add a second air tank (air ride)

So yea. I want to add another tank to the mix. I just want to make sure whats in my head is the right thing to do. I would figure just get a second tank, tee off the first tank and run a line to the second. What problems will that bring? I know I will need some more compressors to fill it faster.

Also, would it be better to run 2 bags off one tank and 2 off the other? or will air spew from one tank to the other fast enough? Thanks.

If I added another tank I would run the fronts off 1 tanks and rears off the other.

I'd tee it off at the compressor and run it to both tanks and I'd probably run 2 bags off of each tank.

I don't know much about Air but thats my .02

2nd tank is best used with 2nd compressor...and like dro said, either split it front/back or driver/passenger to at least get some extra capability out of it. And also like MTParker said, if you're staying at 1 compressor T-connect after the compressor so that they're both being fed simultaneously when the compressor kicks on.

Run dual compressors to each tank to keep the fill up time to a minimum. Or 1 AZ to each tank. This will also help from burning out your compressors prematurely. If running a single compressor to ur tank right now and you plan on T'ing it off will take forever to fill up ur tanks.

How big of a tank are you looking to get? I have a 5 gallon and a small 2 gallon, running 2 compressors. Just connect the 2 tanks together and that's it.

If you run a second tank, wont you need another pressure switch for the second tank as well?

u got pics of ur setup rgarjr? Just wonder where you mounted your tanks as I thinking about adding another tank as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if your running 2 tanks separately with separate compressors to each tank then you will need another switch. If your just connecting another tank to ur existing one (like rgarjr) and using the same compressor then you don't need another switch.

I'm running 2dual 480 compressors already. and I have a 4 gallon tank. (they sent me the wrong one.. oh well.) I'm looking at a 7 gallon tank to add (I'm thinking about mounting it to the trunk lid) I forgot I was doing such a big tank, so yea maybe some more compressors would be nice (ugh more money)...

Oh yea, and no I dont play a lot, I just dont like to hear the compressors come on every time I get into my car (after parking) and yea, I guess I want to be able to play a bit every once in a while...

on that note, is it possible to get three wheel motion on our setups? I tried a few different ways, but cant seem to get the rim off the ground. I would assume it just doesnt get high enough.

You need to have weight in the rear to be able to 3 wheel.

if you have 2 compressors already all you need is 2 5 gallon tanks that should be plenty of air supply
