Default Tein springs(Is $225 too much to install)???

I just recently bought some Tein H-tech springs for my 99' GS300 and i havent done too much suspension work in my day so I was gonna get them installed professionally.Ive done some looking around and one of the few shops in my area that atually do suspension work told me to put them on it would be about $225, i was wondering is that a reasonable price or is that way too much.(I never really have dealt with get lowering springs put on so im not too familiar wit a reasonable install price

Thumbs up $225, that seems reasonable.

$225, that seems reasonable.

wow... I just looked it up on Ondemand... repair guide...

lol. it says 3.2 hours for both fronts and 3.2 hours for both rears...LOL..

6.4 hours x $95(avg. labor)= $608.00 total.. labor...

can someone double check, if that's right?

I think that's pretty reasonable. For comparison purposes, I charge $150 for a spring and/or shock install.

i think most will say it depends on who you know, which area, and the places you get estimates.
a mechanic who knows their way around a lexus, should be capable to do a s/s combo or coilover install under 2 hours. of course s/s combo takes longer having to part the spring from the strut, etc.
bottom line, 225 isnt bad imho (not the best, not the worst)
