Want to cut my tanabe df210's, only the fronts, need guidance!
I want to be about 1/2 inch lower in the front, how much of the spring should I cut to get that? What do you cut the springs with? Thanks

IIRC (don't hold me to this) it's the top thats the dead coil. use a sawzall with a good metal cutting blade and make sure you measure three times before cutting haha. An incorrect cut will result in a really bad ride quality.

+1 forgot to add that to my post. if you enjoy the probable bobblehead ride quality that usually accompanies cutting springs do it, but if at all avoidable grab coils and sell the springs/shocks

dun duh duh dunnn..here i am!!! cut em!! the ride quality is NOT as bad as u think..as long as u got some good shocks because..these will blow ur stock shocks in a month..i blew mine in about a month..but mine was cut alot! and plus..i was plannin on goin coilovers (which i have on now)..but the picture in my sig is with my cut DF's..if u want 1/2"..i think a half a coil or maybe a full one would suffice..dont quote me on that tho..im jus guessing..cuz i kno i cut more than that and my car was to the floor

not EXACTLY sure how much i cut..but id say..a good 3-4 coils all around..and yea..the ride quality wasnt that bad for the first month..then it jus blew..haha..so i would say..for stock shocks..its a temporary slammage..but if u got some good KYBs or bilsteins..they should last a lot longer
