Any update LRD? Also are the Corvette symbols painted on or just stickers? I would hate to sand down or blast those beautiful calipers.

Again guys, getting the z06 brakes would be for looks tho, supra tt calipers stops better than the z06

The supra weights 3486 while the z06 weights just under 3150, there will be no other reason to put brakes that stops a lighter car at more distance on a heavier car. I'm going on z06 forums to sell my supra tt brakes !

It depends. Both calipers have the ability to lock up your wheels so because one car stops shorter, we can't say it's because of the brake system. Tires, weight distribution, brake bias, etc will play a part in the total stopping distance. Saying the Supra brakes are better than the Corvette's is like assuming the Supra TT handles better than the SC just because it has factory Limited slip differential. No doubt the Supra calipers are some of the strongest when it comes to clamping power, but you do get to the point of diminishing returns on street tires.

Is this not fitting because it is hitting the face or the dropped center of the rim? Im not sure if you measured, but what was the radius from the center to the edge of the corvette calipers? how about to the edge of the ls400 calipers? both with the isf rotors.

Hey fellas know it's been a well. But I finally got around to finishing the adapter bracket for the six piston Z06 calibers I 'll starting the rears soon . So the combination for this fitment is IS-F font rotors 14.1 using the six piston Z06 front calibers as pictured earlier in this thread

IS F front rotors-z06-bracket.jpg

made of 3/8 steel but the finished brackets are 1/2

Hey Matt sorry it took so long to answer you . I believe the overall diameter of the caliper and rotor will be to big to fit in the drop center of your wheel.

But hey this setup will be on my car before the Orlando meet . And if I know you ,you'll be there. So we'll take a wheel off and try it..

This is a great looking upgrade. I wonder if any aftermarket company has started making is-f rotors yet?

I"ll get the exact specs on the bolts when I get the new the 1/2 inch brackets. The best part is our banjo bolts are the some thread ..

That is an awesome price for those rotors. I paid doubled that when I started this project..It's been a while, as you all can see in the pictures the rotors are all rusted now
