I have a 2010 IS250 AWD and just purchased the F sport sway set. I have been reading up and am very surprised that there is now DIY with pics to install them. Sure the rear is basic, but the front I am concerned about.
Can the front sway be install on just ramps in my drive way?
I have read that the lower subframe needs lowered and you have to "mess with the steering a bit" so I am concerned about doing all this on ramps. Is the subframe on our cars just a brace? Or does it provide the mounting points for the suspension and I am going in over my head. A PITA is fine with me, I just need to know that its actually possible to do in my driveway with just ramps and wrenches.
Also, on a lot of old threads, I see a link to the instructions to install it bu Sewell is gone now and the link no longer works, anyone have the PDF?
Thanks in advance

I'd tried and failed -- I wouldn't recommend it.
The ramp just doesn't give enough clearance and leverage to properly install the front sway bars. I was able to do the rear on ramps, but end up taking to a shop for install for less than $100. It's just not worth the hassle. I attached the PDF you can give to a shop -- if they done the install before, it will only take 30 minutes.

On a side note, with the sways being my first suspension/chassis upgrade, what should I look at next? The rear brace? FIG bushings? Coilovers? Bang for my buck is paramount.
Thanks in advance

Can someone confirm the rear sway bar size of a 2010 is250 is 15mm?
is PTR02-53080 the correct part number to replace my oem rear sway bar with?

If you dont have the factory sport suspension you will need new brackets and bolts to mount the rsb

I'll +1 Bell Lexus, bought quite a few things from them. They generally ship the same day you order.

Got F-Sport set for my 2011 IS350. Installed rear one, - 45 min.
Removed plastic cover to install the front one, looked at the sway bar and put cover back.
Did anyone replace 2011 350 at home, on the ramps. Do you need to drop half of the front suspensions to get to the bar?
