I put Megan Racing springs on my BMW and they were surprisingly good. Better than whatever my buddies had on their Bimmers. Not sure if anyone has used them on GS though. Just an option I guess.

Fat chance your stock struts survive with lowered springs, especially since you want to go 1 1/2 lower. You might try the search function, this topic has been covered about 50 million times. For what it's worth

Mild
Eibach Pro-street (1 inch-ish)
Bilstein HD

Significant lowering (1 1/2 ich-ish)
Tanabe DF or NF
KYB

Any lower
Coilovers

if you're staying on stock struts, go S-Techs, h-techs, nf210s, or eibachs.

much lower than that (df's espelirs like all you clowns are recommending haha) and you'll need high performance struts.

yeah what he said.

also, you can just cut your factory springs.. the ride is much more comfortable and it's cheaper! If you're getting angry or upset at this point you haven't figured out that I was just kidding
