Did you buy your tanabes brand new?

perhaps they mixed it up? The longer springs goes in the rear and the shorter ones are in the front.

Ok...now that im back home...
He put the taller springs on the front with no issues... The shorter ones in the rear he didnt want to put on because the "cup" (black steel thing that holds the top of the spring) was pretty narrow and he thought if i hit a hard bump that cup would go INSIDE the spring and kill the car - he didnt think it was safe.
These were purchased used from Celsior400 and im almost positive he had them on his 2nd gen GS...
So im on DF210s in the front, stock in the rear - is this bad in any way (other than looks)
Also, he couldnt do an alignment because it was a 20" wheel - his machine was up to 17" only...WTF! I am so pissed, what a crappy day its been.
Got pulled over on the way home for no turn signal merging onto the interstate!
If anyone has any ideas for me...Perhaps the mechanic was just an idiot and they are correct...but whatever, cost me $100 for the fronts only..Not to bad...

From the tenabe website.... Which ones did you purchase? Do you have the email/receipt that specifies which ones to be positive? There isnt any way to tell which is which by the spring itself I dont think..

GS300 (JZS147) 93-97 6.2 / 3.8 1.8 / 1.8 TDF077 $290.00
GS300 98-05 6.0 / 5.6 1.8 / 1.3 TDF024 $290.00
GS300 06-06 4.7 / 6.1 1.9 / 1.6 TDF112 $260.00

Also, your saying the 1.8 drop goes in the front (bigger drop) and the 1.3 goes in the rear (less of a drop)

oh...my..god... I dont know how I missed that.. I think I was talkin to several folks with them and assumed they were all for my ride...Well ****..Now what? Ive got the front ones on, and it didnt "appear" to drop it at all! First question, is it safe to drive on them? He didnt install the rear because he didnt htink they would be safe - so im guessing the fronts are okay? I should prolly pull em off anyway, but just wondering if I can safely drive up there?
Up for sale...tenabe df210s!
crap...what a pain in the as$
