Default Supra rotor fitment issues

Does anyone have Supra rotors on their car? I bought a pair of R1Concept blank rotors a month ago and I'm having fitment issues.

pic taken from my.is

Where the rotors have holes for the studs, I have a fairly wider hole than the studs thus every time I brake the damn thing has some play and makes a metal-to-metal sound...which is starting to **** me off.

Does anyone else's rotors do that? I'm considering returning this to R1Concept...

Hrm..that's not right. Definitely contact them. I'm not using Supra rotors, but my LS400 rotors from R1 is perfect.

yeah, i thought maybe it was b/c I have Poopura rotors on my GS but it's the same PCD and I would think the GS and the Supra have the same size bolt. I'll contact them and see what they say...

it's the rotor that has play, not the pads. Plus, I spend like 70bucks for a brand new set of shims and anti-squeal spring

if thats the case they must have drilled the wrong bore for the studs in your rotors. Do you still have your stocks? compare the sizes and if they're off return them to R1 and have them send you a set with the correct bore sizes free of charge, as you're returning a set they can sell again.

aren't these mass produced? b/c it's one helluva tolerance issue. i'm hoping it's just me with this issue and not a whole batch of them.

I'm starting to have the same issue here after I took it to service. Wasn't there before...Is it a clicking sound every time you press the brake pedal?

it's more than "click" since it's metal-to-metal but yeah, i guess you could describe it as a click.

I got mine from them about 6 months ago. Supra fronts and Gs rears and when I broke them in the fronts warped. I called them they sent me another set no problems. They stand behind their product. My never had the noise that you are talking about. i do get a slight click sometimes when I am going slow and the pads shift.

R1 rotors are garbage! Stay with the oem Supra or go brembo.

I'm starting to think this too... no email reply yet.

I may run my OEM GS rotors to see how much quieter my cars supposed to be.
