Red face Wasted money on more Tires.

Okay, I know this question has been ask thousands of time, but I'm tired of buying new sets of tires every 6months. Is there a camber kit available for the '01 Gs 300. I've looked in the suspension and brake checking and have found not answer or the answer I don't want. I found that the kit requires coils. I don't have coils and don't want to invest more than I have to.

Please advise......:

http://search.ebay.com/search/search...ber&category0=

EXACT motorsports also has roll center adapters for the front and rear that lower the car another inch, while correcting some camber too.

A good alignment will keep your tires wear properly even with a lot of camber. You can always flip tires after the inners wear. I recommend Firestone Lifetime Alignment for $150.

Thanks for the info. I'll will look them up.

To be honest with you, I have had so many alignment and wasted so much money. My brother help me did an alignment and we used a wench to try to bring it back to specs. It gave us 1 degree back.

I really do not want to lower my car and extra inch, since I'm on l-tuned springs/bilsteins. I saw the ebay items, but I'm not really sure what those spacers do. I'm off by -2.5 most of the time.

That's strange. The L-Tuned drop is only 1 inch or so. You can drop the GS an inch and still be in spec. Not sure why your car is so off because my car had -2.5 on air suspension (not all the way down).

I sure did, I got both toe and camber done. I would have to find my print out. I think the toes are off. Is there a way to fix toe?

That is strange for only a 1 inch drop. I let my Tein CS settle after driving around for a week, then I got a 4 wheel alignment. There is very minimal camber wear but not bad considering I have no aftermarket camber plates.

Are any of your bushings very worn out? If they are, they will throw off your alignment no matter how many times you go to the shop.

I have the same springs and I have yet to replace my tires since almost two years ago.

Get us your aligment specs so we can have an idea of where the problem is.

Toe is EZ to adjust.

If I had to guess I'd say you are running with toe out. A litte toe out will KILL the inner tire tread.

Many people think their problem due to the camber, because of the wear location on the tires, but toe can affect the inner tire wear MORE than the excessive camber.

damn man . tires evey 6 months. I dont care how nice the car looks dumped, you need to replace your springs with somehting less aggressive or if you are on coilovers you need to boost that car up a little. I have to agree with the other members , you may have a toe issue, or bushing issue that changing geometry.

RCAs will drop your car however thick the RCAs are.

But if you have stock suspension, do it right and get springs or coilovers if you want to lower your car. RCAs are not meant for lowering. Far too many people are using it for the wrong reasons.

Daizen steering rack bushings are $40
