Default Sway bar bolt broke.... what now?

I was replacing the bushing on my front sway bar and while tightening one of the two bolts on the passenger side of the bar... the head broke off the bolt.
The bolt is still in place and tight; however, the nut head broke off.

Can the car be driven like this for the time being? I would imagine that I can have the bolt drilled out and replace it w/ a new one I can get from Pembroke or Sewell or something. The question is, can I drive it at all? Or for a week? What could happen?

Just take your time when you're driving. Your car won't handle good at all. But you can drive it. So just be careful.

Tommy, the reason I sold you those bushings is because I took my front sway bar off completely. I really dont notice a difference in handling for the driving I do.

happened when i did mine as well. just take the mount off of the body of the car and take the bolt out, should be able to just with your fingers at this time since there is no strain on it. if this isn't clear enough, let me know and i'll try to find some pictures of it to explain better.

you might be able to get the bolt out of the top of the mount as well without taking the mount off the car (i.e. opposite side of the bracket, sway bar, and bushing)
