Yeah, my rotors were shot at 25K. I doubt the dealer would replace them on their nickel if they weren't that bad. I don't do any auto-xing. Brake hard...just maybe a couple of times but usually just normal driving.

Sorry no part numbers for the pads.

I have 55k on mine and they're not even half worn. Neither are my pads. Amazing what proper bedding will do.

Do you think I need to "bed" my new pads on the current rotors?

Also, did you do an extended warranty on the car?

On any ISx50, the rotor will last about atleast 20k-30K.. Im not sure how much pads left to go but the rotors and pads are poor condition.. U can go dealership to tell service advisor about the brake problem and it will cover the warranty.. I work technician at Lexus dealership..

The head technician said as long as the rotors are within standards, they could not be replaced.

NOt necessary, when I saw the rotor has major groove, it cover on warranty or TSB.. There are no way to resurface the rotor because the groove will be damage or end up deep more.. That is why the parts department give them a new rotors as a warranty and possible TSB...

He's correct. They didn't replace mine when I got the alternate pads, and they didn't resurface them either.

Here's what I have after 55k miles with TSIB pads since 21k miles:

Right Rotor

Left Rotor

No unusual grooves from the pads, and still lots of meat left on the rotor and pads.

Right Front Pad

Left Front Pad

I don't know how you guys drive, but I don't drive slow. I just hate using the anti-gas mileage pedal, so I avoid it. I also bed my pads and rotors immediately because I know it extends pad and rotor life.

your rotor is how mine use to looks like... i quess i didnt bed in my brakes properly can you please explain how you did it???

eg:i found a long, fairly straight section of road where you can safely
travel about 35 MPH. Select a gear which is about halfway to redline. Drag
your brake (do the front and rear separately) as you apply throttle. Keep
doing this until you feel the brakes start to fade. You'll probably smell
them about this time too.
