Default Tokico HP w/ Tanabe NF210.. anyone object?

Is this a bad idea? I was curious since I am interested in the Tanabe or Eibach spring set... should I just wait and save for aftermarket shocks or is it safe to put them on the stock shocks since it wont be too low?
thanks

Should I just wait and buy the Tokico HP shocks with the Tanabe's and not bother with putting an aftermarket spring on a factory shock?

Most likely your shocks are at the end of their life, or close to it. You might as well do it right the first time otherwise you'll be spending money and time later just to replace the shocks.

i also used to have espelirs on OEM shocks, but i ended up leaking my shocks in the front, not so great.. but i now have zeal function s6 coilovers. i would just get new shocks along with springs to do it right. altough i havent rad or hear any reviews with Tokico HP's with Tanabe NF210 springs, i know tokico HP's should be nice. I think if you would put the Tokico's with a Eibach spring set, you should be running really comfy.

I'm running Tanabe NF's on Tokico Hp's and they work great for what i was looking to accomplish. A slight drop, stock like comfort, and slightly better handles without having to roll/shave fenders while running my 19's. It took about 2 weeks for the springs to fully settle. Considering that it took me about 3hours to complete the install, I would highly recommend installing the shocks at the same time so you don't have to repeat the process. Not to mention 1 of my shocks was blown and another was getting ready to go out. Keep in mind this suspension is not for everyone... most CL members will say the car is not low enough/doesn't handle like it's on rails but it did exactly what is looking to accomplish. I'll post some pix as soon as i get off work so you can decide if this suspension setup is for you. Hope this helps.

i would honestly save up for coils, thats what i did actually, its not too much more expensive compared to shock/springs when you think about it.

aftermarket springs 250+
aftermarket shocks 300+
installing the springs on the shock 50?

you can get slightly used teins for less than 1g or stance coils for like 1100 new?

just save a few more hundred and get yourself coils, they are adjustable in height so you can adjust and readjust.
