Its a pain in the @ss to adjust. You put the suspention together, put wheels on, put car on the ground, check your height, then reverse the process if its not low enough. We did it like 3 or 4 times to the Fit to finally get all sides even and at the proper height. Hope this helps you out, bro!
wow, what a PITA!

So your saying to adjust the shock up(counter clockwise) to lower? So it appears that the shock is getting longer but its actually getting shorter?Let me know if I interpreted your post correctly..

Adjust the shock body up (clockwize) to lower. The teaded part of the shock will start to come out the bottom.

you should be able to adjust the height by unbolting the part that is bolted to the lca and just turn it so it looks like its going up. and like NEO said the treaded part should start to show at the bottom of the shock body. hope this helps.

Exclamation

here is a pic for reference..

If you notice like any coilover you have the spring perch collar and then you have the lock collar underneath(Purple). If you notice the purple collars are on a tube that is threaded to the shock body..thats the tube that gets adjusted and thats what Im trying to figure out..

i really dont think they are. most full tap coilvoers have that third collar unless its those types where they adjust the shock length inside the tube like this...which sounds like what Neo300 is explaining....

but most of them, and most(if not all?) HKS full taps are like this

Default HKS Hypermax LS+ Manual

Okay I am in the process of scanning the manual I have for my set. I had promised Johnee78 a while back and had problems with the scanner. Now there is one snag... It is all in Japanese so we may need to ask Coco-Bun if he or someone else can translate... I am going to try and attach... OOPS. Sorry folks no can do scanned PDF file is 3 MB. I can e-mail to anyone that wants it or I am open to suggestions..

Johnee78 sent PM
