The wire is the one that's held into the shocks.

If you have a multimeter at home, measure the resistance of the speed sensor. The connector is located behind the fender liner. Just pull the plug (connector) out and read the resistance. It should be 1.4k-1.8k Ohms. If not, then it's broken. If it falls within the range, then the sensor is good and the problem is somewhere else.

Don't mean to high jack the thread, but are the abs sensors compatible with other models such as the IS?

That's the driver side. The passenger side is opposite. We have an ABS sensor for each corner of the car. Usually the ones people rip belongs to the front. It could be due to suspension install or balljoint install.

The only other car I know that's compatible with the GS sensor is the Lexus SC430. Even then, it's only the front sensors that are interchangeable.

Red face abs

It's all great info.. But I am still a bit foggy. Is it called the abs sensor or speed sensor?? All I see a cable. So is it a sensor "cable" that needs to be replaced?? Or is it a module type sensor attached to the cable.. A little confused. Any clear up will help.

Thanks. I was told my right front "speed sensor" is going bad and it is causing my indicators to come on and stay on. What ever that is.... Help!!
