Default Change Brake Calipers?

ok guys could use a little help.. just bought the slotted rotors/metalic pads/steel brake line kit.. question is should i change calipers? how often should calipers be changed? is there a nicer option then oem calipers?these calipers got like 130,00 miles on them .. did a search and cant find anything on this .. thanks guys

I believe more people if upgrade and don't go all out .. use the ls400 caliper it has more pistons then the Gs and is cheaper than supra ...

130k shouldn't be a huge issue if your just daily driving ..

Someone who knows more can chim in ..

You shouldn't even have to change the calipers. The only time you would ever want to do anything with them is if the sliding pin or the piston itself gets seized. In that case, you can rebuild them with OEM parts for about $30. There is no need to get new OEM calipers.

ok so oem calipers last like forever .. i didnt want to paint them and put stickers on .. if i was gonna need new 1's in a short time .like i said i got 130,000 miles on them .good stuff ..

what are my options for aftermarket capliers that would be better then oem... i just bought the package from irotor of .. semi=metalic pads/slotted rotors/steel brake lines ..

A direct replacement of the OEM calipers utilizing the OEM rotors? None exist.

I would highly recommend going with the LS400 or Supra BBKs. Brake feel and responsiveness is a lot better than the OEM setup.

FYI, if you go with LS400 brakes, you will need to do some grinding or install RCAs. If you get Supra TT brake, they will be a direct fit.
