Ok.. So my Master Cylinder/Brake Booster went out while driving. NO BRAKES.. Since it was my lucky day, I was only 2 blocks away from my house. I found a unit at the junk yard off an 04 gs300. Will this fit my 99??

I read somewhere on the forums the GS400 and GS300 share the same master cylinder/booster, assume the year is interchangable too.

- Checked Lexus-Parts.com, they sell the same part # 47960-30030 for both the 99 and 04 so I think your ok.



- I am in DFW too, what junk yard has GS parts, good deal?

I was able to find out the following Master Cylinders/Boosters are interchangable:

03'-04' Toyota 4 Runner
05' Toyota 4 Runner 8 cyl.
98'-05' GS300
01'-05 GS430
03'-05' GX470
02'-06' SC430

As far as a junk yard with lexus parts... Very hard to find unless you have an older model SC. I lucked out finding my part. You can try Toyota Heaven tho..

Its off an 04 GS with low mileage and light hit in the rear. I think I'll be ok..
