hey, i'm in the market for springs and have heard alot of good stuff about the Eibachs, although i've seen 2 or 3 comments about it having an uneven drop between the passenger side and driver side (one is lower apparently?) I'm pretty surprised this isnt mentioned more of, because personally idk how much that would appeal to me

am i correct about this uneven drop? and if so... why did they make it uneven lol, is it noticable and has it bothered anyone else

i'm just surprised i've seen that brought up so few times, it seems like it would be a big factor for me considering a drop is all about making the car looks a slick, smooth, aggressive, and improve the handling.. having the car basically on a sideways tilt isnt exactly my idea of 'smooth'

The car sits uneven with the OEM suspension, GO MEASURE. Eibach just doesn't correct for the extra weight on the driver side, but neither does Lexus. That is why I got coilovers, so I could make my car DEAD even.
So no matter what spring you use it is going to be approx. 1/2 inch lower on the driver side.

that sir is the effect of springss.. one side is gonna weigh more then the other side.. your best bet is coilovers.. i hate my springs

Yea, the driver side sits lower on my car.. but only by about 1/4 inch. Its noticable, but i dont really care.

i heard the "most" even or less tilt drop for springs are the H&R...

I don't know how that could be unless they make make a left and a right spring, which I know they dont. I lowered my Audi with H&R springs and it sat dead level, Toyotas are all pretty much heavier on the the driverside, by a lot. I know my Tacoma was the same and I had to crank the coilover on the driverside up more to make it level. Same as my friends Tundra and even our IS. I would think it poses unneutral handling, but the car doesn't handle that well anyways I guess.

I've heard that many aftermarket springs for our cars create a lower stance on the drivers side. Then how come the factory springs allow the IS to sit nearly level (or at least it seems like it's fairly close to level).

did you not read the previous posts, go measure it leans with the OEM springs too.

Haven't measured, it's a little late and dark to measure right now. If you read my post it states that the stock springs seem very close to level, at least to me. I will take your advice and measure just to see how much the car leans on the stock springs

It definately leans, that is the whole reason I got aftermarket coilovers to begin with. I wanted a car DEAD ON ***** LEVEL from side to side and it was no where near that OEM. You can look at it from behind and see it leaning.

so then its not just the eibachs that make this problem, since the car starts uneven any set of springs will be the same??
and coilovers u can adjust to be even...
