drop and camber
I have a 98 GS4. I want to know how much i can drop the car while still maintaining good camber. I have heard that 1 inch is about the lowest i can go. Is that the limit? I dont want to be buying tires every year.
Thanks 4 the help

a lot of members here has dropped their car more than 1" and have good tire wear. the key is getting it aligned at a shop who knows what they are doing.
keep in mind that with factory specs, it already has negative camber and when you lower your car, it will add to it.
bottom line, find a good alignment person and they can dial in the correct specs.

Thanks for the replys.
Anybody know the factory alignment specs? My friend that told me about the 1 inch limit owns an alignmet shop and is probably gonna be the one to do my alignment after the drop. Im trying to decide bewtween a mild drop (NF210-1.2F 0.8R, or Tein H tech-1.2F 1.1R Eibach Pro-1.1F 1.1R) or a nicer bigger drop (DF210- 2.0F 1.5R, or Espelir). Im running on 245/40/18s and i dont want to have problems with the camber eating my tires up after the alignment.
I guess my question should be "Will an alignment shop be able to get exact factory spec or fairly close to it if I use the DF210 springs?"
