Default Installing new pads/rotors... How to compress brake pistons?

I am installing new rotors and pads on my '01 GS430 and wanted to know what is involved with compressing the brake pistons to allow for the thicker pads/rotors? On my past Cobra, I had to buy a small tool to allow me to turn the pistons back inside the caliper. I've also done brakes where I used a C clamp to compress the pistons.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
T

the C-clamp shouldbe fine. The front GS calipers are just normal floating types.
