I don't know if one shock specifically works better than another according to the different springs but my guess would be the kyb gr-2s.

im riding on Bilstein Sports. its definitely firm. my girlfriends accord gives a smoother ride than my lexus. i don't know if its the shocks or the H&R springs, but its a hard ride.

if you are planning to lower 1inch or more i say go with the bilstein sports (firm ride) because they are made for lowering springs and performance. the other ones like kyb gr-2 and bilstein HD are more for factory height (from what i understand) but the bilsteins are more expensive ~ $500+

and as for camber kits... nothing worth wild is out there yet. rear camber kits are like $650 + which replace the piece that the bottom of the strut, swaybar bolts to. ( don't know what it called. I think lower control arm) but if you are lowering about 1.5 inch the and if you get it aligned, you should be at about -1 to -1.5 camber which is not too bad on tires. (but still not good )

hope this helps.

try shox.com. i think bilstein's run about 460-480 on there. kyb's are in the 3's i believe.

Try ajusa.com also for the shocks. I ordered KYB's for my ES300 and the ride is pretty good.. (Stock height).. I'm confused on how the stock shocks are to Big ANy shock or strut should work as long as its made for the GS. If i didn't have coils i would have gone with the Tanabe sprongs and Bilstein S/S. Try the classifieds for used coilovers.. GL..

I have H&R/Tokico Illumina setup on my Accord and even with the Shocks set at full soft, its still a rough ride. So I would definitely say its your springs.
